Philosophy
The Learning Tree Child Care Centre believes that children deserve the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, loving, and enriching environment. Like a seed growing to be a sturdy tree, we provide developmentally appropriate programs for nurturing children’s growth, which enables them to become productive contributors to the world in which they live.
As Early Childhood Educators, we are committed to providing an inspiring, educational, play-based curriculum to guide the children’s learning, enhance their knowledge, and meet their developmental needs. We believe that children are capable of critical thinking, curious about the world, and rich in potential. The curriculum is designed to allow flexible, creative, and spontaneous activities based on the children’s interests and ideas.
We strive to build a trusting relationship with all children, enhance their sense of belonging and well-being, and support their overall development. We will ensure that every child feels loved, secure and proud, and will scaffold the development of each child as an individual who can develop personalities and qualities that contribute to lifelong learning.
